In February 2000, NRMI was registered with the Malawi Government under the Trustee Incorporation Act. A year later NRMI became a registered member of the Council for Non-Governmental Organization in Malawi (CONGOMA). Due to its good reputation, NRMI was voted as one of the five NGOs to sit on the Southern Region Committee of CONGOMA in 2003. It has four local and two foreign board members from UK and USA NRMI is currently operating from its headquarters in Blantyre in the Southern Region of the Country. In addition to the headquarters it also has some sites in Kasungu, Blantyre, Zomba and Chikwawa Districts where field coordinators are based.. Main Current Activities In its quest for achievements, New Restoration Ministries International has seven main program activities under its jurisdiction thus; Evangelism, Physically Challenged [1], Elderly persons, HIV/AIDS, Food Security, Orphan care and Relief. Management Board The organization is made up of two boards, the Trustee Board and the Executive Board. The Trustee Board headed by the Board Chairman has four local and two foreign members from UK and USA. The Executive Board is an administrative organ of the organization and it comprises of people of diverse professional backgrounds and it is usually chaired by the Resident Director of New Restoration Ministries International.
